Final Additions to WFAC 2009 Programme Announced!

An already strong lineup gets even stronger with the addition of two outstanding films, each by first-time directors!

Tarik Saleh’s bleak sci-fi film Metropia paints a moody, dystopic future in which Europe is increasingly owned by a single corporation, and Big Brother watches from every corner. Catch this Swedish film at the Festival before it opens in its own country!

The second film is graphics novelist Aleksa Gajic’s translation of his own novel to animation, Technotise. A beautifully-rendered film, Technotise follows the story of a young woman who gets more than she bargains for when she agrees to a neural implant that begins to affect her in unexpected ways.

The programme for WFAC 2009 is a complete collection of the incredible renaissance of feature animation around the world today. Join us for four incredible days of film unavailable under one roof anywhere else in the world!
